10th Annual Christmas with the Homeless!

Celebrate the birth of Jesus and God's love with the homeless this Christmas at Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando! This year marks the 10th Christmas we will celebrate with the homeless! Please meet at the FOOD COURT located near 431 Central Av. (see map below) where we will be setting up the tables. The food court is located on the corner of E. Central Ave. and S. Osceola Av. We will meet down there at 10:30am to set up

and start serving at 11am to 1pm. You can park on the streets along Lake Eola Park and there should be no parking fees on Christmas morning. Please plan to bring food items, men's and women's clothes and inexpensive, dollar store items to hand out as gifts to the homeless. Please bring any fold up tables you may have to set the food on. The event will last until 1:30 pm. Help will be needed with clean up too!

Please partner with others to make your own carpooling arrangements and meet us downtown.

Please bring food of all kinds, toiletries and other items to share. The needy can always use tennis shoes (no hard soled shoes please), socks, backpacks, blankets and ponchos for rainy weather. If you arrive early, please wait for the rest of the team before distributing your items to avoid causing confusion among the homeless. Thank you.

What a pleasure it was to be part of such a great project! My family and myself wish to thank you for organizing this event and for helping us put the real reason for Christmas in the season! I make it a habit to teach my privileged children humility and following such an example of Our Lord puts it all in perspective. Thank you again and may God Bless you! As to us, you can count on us to make this event a family tradition.
    Happy New Year!

I was there. Did not see a meet up sign of anyone I knew. So, I gave my donations to the staff, volunteered my time and left.
Sorry, I missed meeting some of you.

I expect that this year is going to be HUGE! Come out and join us if you can. It is going to be like a big party in the park! For you GPS users the following address will put you right at the drop off location: 431 Central Av., Orlando FL Parking will be located close to the park on Central Ave, Eola Dr. and Summerlin Ave 1 block east of Eola Dr. This event is usually a great way to spend Christmas by celebrating Jesus and serving the less fortunate! Call me at[masked] if you need me for the day of the event. See you there! - Dave :-)
