Please review a new ‘Page’ titled OACS Standards of Conduct and Behavior that was added to our PAGES tab located at the top menu bar of the OACS home page. In order to create a safe, Christ like environment at all of our sponsored and advertised events we have assembled a set of Scripture based guidelines that we expect everyone to adhere to while attending our events. Because we are a Christian organization representing Jesus Christ we want to show that we are Christians not only in name but also in our deeds. As the Bible says in 1 Peter 1:15-16 “But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy." NIV
You can view the Standards of Conduct and Behaviors at the link below the introduction. These are basic guidelines for behavior that as Christians we should be demonstrating everywhere, every day in addition to the full counsel of God’s Word found in the entire Bible.
Together we can show the world that as Christians we can have fun, be safe and be ambassadors for Christ at the same time.
OACS Standards of Conduct and Behavior
OACS is a 'Christ' based, Christian social outlet where Christ's followers can come together and celebrate life together through various events, outings, activities and Biblical studies. However in today's society we found it necessary to develop a 'Code of Conduct', a set of guidelines if you will. The world is watching us and our walk with the Lord. These guidelines will help remind us 'whose' we are. COLOSSIANS 1:10 says: “that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.”
Thank you and God bless you!
On behalf of the OACS leadership team,
God bless you, Jesus loves you!
