Creating an HTML5 Mobile App Step-by-Step

We will build and deploy an HTML5 mobile application step-by-step using Sencha Touch. This will be geared towards beginners.

I'm hoping that we can complete the session by 8:30pm.

One of my co-workers asked about the 'polling' in the Chat App. One of our Extjs Apps does a similar polling to update a Store from a SQL Database once every second. Our application, however, stays open for 24+ hrs and we are seeing a small 'memory leak' in the browser. I know the chat app is not meant to run that long, but maybe someone has seen a similar issue with Sencha objects holding memory?

Hey guys and gals. At the last meeting their was the question of how to make Jquery Mobile transitions smooth. Just upgrade to the new Jquery Mobile 1.2 and problem solved. Jquery Mobile now has really smooth and sweet transitions. I hope this helps. . .
