Why are you working for/with tech startups?

1.) Stock Options: I want to have the chance at “making it big.” 2.) Cutting Edge: I want help pioneer the futures of industries. 3.) Making a difference: I don't want to work for a Fortune 500 company where I'm simply a cog in a wheel. I want to know that my contributions are impactful and felt by the whole organization.

What problem are you trying to solve?

Each year, national TV advertisers are spending $70 billion dollars to reach U.S. consumers. With DVR penetration surpassing 50 percent in U.S. households, advertisers are desperate for solutions that will ensure their ads are not only seen, but seen by the right demographic. We're building an online video entertainment network to compete with the world's biggest broadcast networks (e.g. CBS, ABC, etc.) for national television advertising budgets – all within a TiVo-proof environment with demographic targeting capacities never before achieved via television or websites.

Describe startup life.

1. Fast-paced 2. Challenging 3. Unorthodox 4. Financially creative

I'm the Technology Manager @ DeskSite, an Orange County start-up in the digital media space. We’re building a video entertainment network. DeskSite is giving TV media buyers a powerful alternative to broadcast television and ad-supported cable.
