Why are you working for/with tech startups?

Because working for stodgy old companies is boring

What problem are you trying to solve?

I just solved an interesting problem -- how to return the Nth element of a tree structure when doing a depth first search. The reason this is interesting is that I'm using a tree to represent a menu on an Android system. The menu looks at the data as an ordered list, so when the user clicks on the Nth entry, I have to find that entry in the tree. Since it's recursive, it's an interesting problem to keep track of what number you're on as you traverse the tree. Oh, and I'm looking to open a new branch of my company in Orange County.

Describe startup life.

I've worked for big companies (Boeing, etc) for a long time. But for the past couple of years I've worked for and had startups. I'll never look back.

I'm a software engineer who loves the startup life
