A special thanks to our "Tea Scout", Nevine for finding this hidden tea room in Costa Mesa. You are in for a treat with this one. This location originally started as a quilting store with classes, but has gone way beyond that. Now a myriad of rooms filled with various supplies for crafts, home decorating items, Christmas items, a Penguin theme room, Teddy Bear/Doll room and so much more, it's hard to take it all in. Nestled in the middle is a small tea room (note:we will be in the larger room adjoining the main building). Our room will be decorated to the nines with country kitsch and promises to be a beautiful setting. This country themed building was created from a former bank building.
We will be having a special treat following our tea with a demonstration of how to make a Romantic Rose Pin from French ribbon which can be used to decorate your clothes, hair, hats and other items. Following the mini class those of you who would like to buy a kit to make your own or attend a full class will be able to do so. Because of the added Romantic Rose Pin demo, please show up on time so we can all enjoy the Romantic Rose presentation.
Our tea will feature a White Chocolate/Apricot Scone, Tea Sandwiches, (Egg salad, Veggie, Chicken Salad and Turkey Cranberry), Salad and for dessert their signature Apple Pie which is made on the premises and I have tried it, super delicious along with our tea.
