~1day b4 this, creator of this series & Listing Event Host Ray Tayek http://meetup.com/members/92329... unexpectedly&unexplained quit this Listing Event Host job+our group+became temp incommunicado! &after ~11mo of doing this w/o complaint!
**so,quitting such,he notably violated our Due Process rule http://1.JotHere.com//3975#MHGM... esp being a ldr.
**Naturally our other leaders asked him what happened. Fortunately he replied, but just2,leader Bill, who said he said he did this merely cause of his frustration w/Meetup's UI.
***so possibly in his followup 2my http://meetup.com/OCAndroid/eve... but that's simple&helpful
***Meetup's UI is frustrating, but I've never seen anyone react so over it,esp when all we asked of of Ray is2make event cmts here on what's happening in his event&he knows I a Meetup expert just a SMS/call away.
***All along,Ray did seem2hv usu difficultly understanding Meetup's UI,but I no get as he acts a coder.

2013 http://OCJUG.Org TOPIC POSSIBILITY: a study group using the book ““Responsible Design for Android” “Part 1: Dancing with the SDK” by J. B. Rainsberger” https://leanpub.com/ResponsibleD...
*1st suggested & recommended ("lobbied") by OCJUG Ray in his cmt http://meetup.com/OCAndroid/eve... on this page

      Ray et al,
*This most certainly sounds like a topic possibility Android developers as our http://Meetup.com/OCA... members, would totally love
**so of course I'm delighted to see you suggest it!
*But wouldn't it drive http://OCJUG.Org members (nearly all Java coders) away with seemingly all focus on Android, presumably just Android-Java? Or do you just intend it for 1 OCJUG meeting or perhaps a separate meeting series? (Just click "Reply" on this comment thread, not on the top comment box for top-level comments.)

MAIN MEETING TOPIC: PLANNING http://OCJUG.Org 2013 ACTIVITIES (says OCJUG leader Ray in cmt http://meetup.com/OCAndroid/eve... on this page )
*PLEASE POST EACH TOPIC POSSIBILITY as its own top-level event comment (so thread) on this page, so then everyone can easily see them & neatly reply to each.
*IN ADDITION, you can also attend the meeting, though still work to insure all topics raised there are also posted here in this format (to well-record them and so non-physically-attendees can contribute as well)
*The official event URL is http://ocjug.org/presos/abstrac... which says (all unique info from there) q(
    Topic: 2013 planning
    Presenter: ray tayek
Abstract: what do you want to do this year?)

      Ray,
*I'm guessing u intended this ur Meetup comment here to go out to all OCAndroid or rough equivalent, but Meetup event comments are only emailed to those posting or RSVPing on that page (and possibly not to those RSVPing NO, so it only went to me and kind of as a "CC". Once we get this page in basic shape, I'll email a link & summary out to all members.
*Meetup event comments truncate the displayed right of the URL, so no one could see you were talking (rather cooly) about Android.
