LDFVEQ: TO BRING if you have:
  • LDFVF8: REQUIRED: YOUR LAPTOP COMPUTER with an 802.11 (wifi) adapter for many reasons:

    • so you can check in to the meeting (on the event page)
    • so you can read the group posts members have made and respond to them, plus add your own discussions.
    • so you can update your group profile info plus your listing in our extra public group membership directory
    • so you can RSVP for upcoming events (keeps this from being forgotten)
    • so you can watch & participate in the presentation when (the typical case) we don't have a screen projector with free UltraVNC installed
    • so you can post to the live meeting discussion, and take notes (ideally in that discussion thread)
    • so you can review & comment the presenters' slides & code yourself live
    • so you can program your phone in our hackathon and (with UltraVNC) collaborate on your coding.
    • So you can very conveniently look up & research stuff (including coding info) on the Internet
So those who don't bring their wifi laptop will be heavily growled at!
  • LDFVFP: The tools you'll need to develop Android (cables, phones, software)
  • LDFVFZ: an outlet strip with a 10 ft cord say 12 outlets to insure everyone has an outlet, as the room has 1 electrical outlet (3-prong). I & GregS will bring ours; try to bring yours as well.
  • LDFVGB: A projector driven by VGA and/or HDMI. Gerard has >=3x brought his, but he can't be expected to do it all the time.
  • LDHQAT: A projector screen, with a way to attach it to the wall as space is very limited, else free standing. For instance, I DestinyArchitect have ~40x30in screen but it's free-standing & very yellowed.
  • LEUICD: And of course, bring a great attitude, including if possible a willingness to post your contributions in writing to our site!
