Hey OCAndroid members!
Android plus all its core development tools are open-source, so tune into this:
IMHO, by-far SoCal's biggest annual open-source software conference, is happening this Fri thru Sun right by LAX.
5+ techie meetup groups are joining together to advertise this! Quoting that our shared write-up,
LY1L5X[/url]: --a "community organized event" "celebrating its tenth year", the largest-by-far open source software conference in Southern California IMHO, with "over 100 seminars and presentation sessions, and an exhibit hall where non-profit and commercial organizations will demonstrate the latest developments in the open-source and free software realm" ..
It's very cool! I went there last year for just the last 3 hours and still well-worth the drive. So this time I'm going for the whole thing.
Moreover, at the expo, this year your very own OCAndroid has a booth there!, combined with OC-PHP & OC-Drupal.
Plus we can get you a full-access pass FOR FREE if you just help out a few hours at our booth --and you can even promote your own IT work or job openings at our booth, too!
Start by RSVPing now for the days you want:
Plus, for those who want, I'm helping set up sharing of rides & hotel-rooms (not just code ;-), to be green, save $, & have more fun!
Hope to see you. Open-source rules!
