Another one of our most favorite hikes. Has to be one of the most beautiful places on the entire east cost.
Views, swimming, fishing, great campsites.
More details to follow, but we'll camp at the usual spots and that giant swimming place from last year. (how's that for details, this is a place holder).
Try to arrive Friday night or NLT 0900 Saturday morning, that's when we'll probably start walking.
Friday's camp is on trail #522 about 1.2 miles from the parking area. It is in a wooded area next to a small stream at the trail crossing.
Saturday is about 8-9 pretty flat miles Dolly Sods trail 522 east to 524 south to 533 east to 514 north.
We camp Saturday on Red Creek. Large campsites, opportunity to swim/wade a bit.
Sunday, we head back to the cars, and select a route from the variety of trails in the network available.
