Those two FORTRAN statements should've been:
DO 10 I = 1,10
DO 10 I = 1.10
For folks who weren't there, this is an example of why FORTRAN had too little significant whitespace. One is an assignment statement, putting the value 1.10 in a variable called "do10i", the other is the start of a "do" (for) loop putting the values 1..10 into I.
