  • Hi Dante - I just signed up for the trip, including Sunday's combo on the Ocoee. I want to do the trail bike ride on Saturday - do I need to reserve that? - I don't see a link for that. Thanks

  • It was nice meeting you! Thanks so much for organizing the HIker Peace mediation retreat. I had a great time. We made it out to Falls Creek Falls on Sunday! Thanks so much for recommending we go, it was worth it, the waterfalls were amazing thanks to all the rain : ) I hope to get in on another trio soon, Trisha

  • Got your message about caving. Yes, I would be interested in putting together a cave trip. I have some novice people who would like to try it. A cave like Tumbling Rock is a great cave for older people like me and novice cavers. Blue Springs is another cave, a little more difficult but is one of the most decorated caves in the South East. We can also do some small drops (rope work) like Rusties.
I'm a stickler for proper caving.

  • Hello Dante! Welcome to Prime Time Hikers! Hope you will be able to join us on a hike soon. This is a relatively new group but we are gaining momentum and hope to offer 2-4 hikes a month. See you soon.

  • Hi Dante! Thanks for checking out the Southern Backpackers site! You are pretty far off, but if you see anything you can join us on, jump on in. Looks like you've been to some awesome places, and we'd love to hear about them. We have a spot left for this weekend to Cane Creek Canyon in Alabama, and we're hiking the Cumberland Trail/Piney Creek the next. Hope you can join us sometime!
