Morning ya'll. That's right I'm a native Georgian but recently retired and moved up to the mountains. I know no one up here, but love the outdoors, including hiking, kayaking, canoeing, rafting, and camping. If it's outside, I'm in. so to speak.
oops, covered in the previous introduction.
Hiking on the AT, Raven Cliff Falls, Providence Canyon are great. Hawaii is my favorite place recently, but hard to kayak there or hike there.

Hi Steve; Yes your friend can borrow my kayak. Only problem is that I may be in Savannah over MLK weekend. Remind me as the date gets closer so we can work it out.
Thanks for sharing all the awesome photos Steve
Hi Steve, that works fine for me.
Steve,
Thanks for joining the group. We will repeat the Bug Out Bag session throughout the summer. Hopefully the group can count on you to impart some of the knowledge that you have on Hiking or other topics.
If you have any topics you feel comfortable offering instruction please let me know. Regards, Jeff
Hi Steve ! Welcome to the "Appalachian Wilderness Hikers" Meetup Group ! We are unique in that volunteer professional guides lead all of our EASY TO MODERATE RATED trips - and most are followed by an optional social event that highlights recreational, cultural and / or historical aspects of the area that you've just hiked ! We hope you can join us soon! Bob G. - Organizer "Appalachian Wilderness Hikers"
