Hello Cindy,
Here are some High Falls Park trip facts: We have 10 or so folks signed up for our Sunday afternoon paddle. The 2 park solo-kayaks are already rented. We are hoping for rain since the river is at its lowest level. This means when the water level is low you paddle through some of the shoals, then you get out of your boat and walk some of the shoals. Also, the weather in Jackson, GA changes quickly...unless it is a significant thunderstorm, we should be fine getting on the river.

Hey Cindy I see you have signed up for Saturday. this section is fun. are there any skills you want to practice ? I will be working on catching eddies , peel outs and ferry's also working on some paddle stroke techniques and maybe doing some surfing:)

I don't know who showed up at the Jazz Nights at Oakhurst last night, because when I arrived, everyone had left due to rain, but if you did, thanks and sorry about that crazy rain! I would never have thought that 30% chance of rain would turn into such an enormous storm!!! Hope to see you soon! Katt
