What is Off Campus Writers’ Workshop? Since 1946, OCWW has encouraged and inspired Chicago-area writers in developing their writing avocations. OCWW meets Thursday mornings from September to May. A variety of speakers will elevate your writing technique with a diversity of topics, including genre fiction, nonfiction, children’s lit, contemporary romance, poetry, publishing, and the implication of ebooks, to name just a few. Here, you will achieve your individual writing goals while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow writers. You can also submit manuscripts for professional critique by some our speakers. When you are published, we will announce your achievement at the workshops online. We have about 200 members. New participants and members are welcome.
