Introduction

Hello Book Bandits! I am your dauntless co-leader, and fellow writer. My name is Brittany, but most people call me...Brittany.

What do you enjoy writing?

I enjoy writing a good voice in my stories, it is my favorite writing element to play with. As far as what I am currently working on: I am writing a YA novel, and revising some short stories.

What are your favorite books?

I have many favorites, both all-time, and current. If you had a gun to my head and forced me to tell you my favorites I guess i could pick a few...asking nicely would probably also work though. My all-time favorites are: Pride and Prejudice (I know I am a stereotype), The Lost Art of Keeping Secrets, HP series (of course), Poison Study series, Enchanted Inc series, and A Prayer for Owen Meany. My current favorites are mostly YA Paranormal Romance: Hourglass, Hex Hall, Paranormalcy, and Anna and the French Kiss.

Who are your favorite authors?

My parents, because they wrote me into the world (cue awes, and eye rolls). No, really though, I enjoy the work of many authors, and now that you have learned you can ask nicely, I will tell you. Jane Austen, John Irving, Maria V. Snyder, and other people I can't think of right now.

Why are you here?

I started the group, and I'm kind of obligated to be here. Annoying, I know. Especially now that I am forced to answer my own questions. ;-)

What do you think book bandit means?

Since it was my idea, I kind of know what it means. I'm not sharing though!
