Just set up a smoking deal for ski appreciation weekend. We will be staying up at Mammoth Mountain Inn right across the parking lot from the main lodge. The rooms will have a loft - main room has King bed and loft has 2 twins. 4 per room.

Plus if you have renewed or purchased an MVP - Friday Apr. 24th is the first day you can use it so let's hit the slopes. It's good clear till end of season this year and end of season 2010.

Mammoth Mountain invites you to "Play Big" this years Mammoth Appreciation weekend (upgraded to a weekend from last year's "Day").
Call in "sick" and arrive Friday to enjoy a day of open slopes and the Apres-ski kick off party at Cervina for drink specials, live music, and registration for the weekend events. Then after the Apres party head down the hill to the Village for the First Annual Toga Pub Crawl. That's what we need the bed sheets for- :)
If you want to race: Register Sat am early for the Race and event for the Club Challenge Giant Slalom Race and the awards ceremony ( I think we might skip the racing/awards). Late in the day we will gather on the Main Lodge's sun deck to witness the spectacular Dummy Downhill Competition. One of my OC traditional ski clubs made a dummy last year and won the race. They will do it again. We can cheer them on.
After the races - dig out your old Prom dress and guys dust off your Tux so we can party like it's 1979. You do not have to dress up this weekend only if you want to participate in their events for a prize. Regular clothes are fine - some like to go with the theme - last year it was Pirates. This year Prom Party.
More about that party later - it's dress up for the Awards ceremony and the theme is Prom Party. They are giving awards for best dressed, Grand Slalom Champions, and the Dummy Downhhill Victors. They are going to crown the King and Queen of the Club Appreciation weekend and have awards? Prizes? who knows what they will win (Nancy's two cents)

I have booked some room/loft units for Thurs, Fri and Sat. nights with 4 per room/loft. The first 16 to get their money in get those spots. Then there are some room/loft units for those who can't escape the rat race and will join us on Friday - the first day we can use our MVP passes. Join us to Christen the new passes. The next 16 or the 16 would can only come on Fri night will get those rooms. That's a total of 44 people for this fun filled weekend.
We will have our own happy hour in there somewhere either at lunch one day or we can decide.
As usual we will hope the ladies won't mind sharing the King and couples will get the King beds. Guys can have the twins or ladies who don't know each other and want their own bed.
Money in gets your choice of bedding. So, get the money to me as soon as you can.

I know many are planning to buy the MVP passes right now. We will have that expense coming up now.

Pricing:
3 nights - Thurs, Fri, and Sat in the Mammoth Mountain Inn with the Resort discount card is $105.00 pay $30 now to reserve your spot
2 nights - Friday and Sat night (come up early to catch the parties if you can) with Resort card etc. is $73 pay $25 now to reserve your spot.
