ODOGS (Oklahoma Dogs & Owners Getting Social) is a meetup for friendly people with friendly dogs, where dogs will have fun and owners can, too. Our meetups let us play with our dogs, let our dogs play together, and even do some human socializing. Since South OKC and Moore residents don't have a dog park yet, this playgroup is a great opportunity for you and your dog to get social. ODOGS met at the Animal Resource Center (ARC) in south OKC, during the winter, and it's time to find some more activitiess. Please come up with ideas for other ODOGS playtime, dog walks, runs and hikes, dog-rescue events, volunteer opportunities, and simple dog-friendly social activities. If you have ideas, please make a suggestion, volunteer to organize an event, and share your ideas. ODOGS is all about letting our dogs play and be social, and improving the lives of dogs in our community. Basic "dog park" etiquette and good behavior will always be expected at all events. Check the details on each event for a few rules and other important information. RSVP and see you at an ODOGS meetup!
ODOGS has free Meetup.com membership for two years, thanks to the generosity of Meetup.com, to help our community of Moore and South OKC recover, rebuild, socialize and go place with our dogs.
We've also have an ODOGS Facebook page effective May 13, 2013.
