Becoming a member of ODPG, the Orlando Digital Photography Group, is another step along this road we have chosen to travel;  the road that leads to becoming better photographers. This Meetup group is composed of people who share an interest in not only learning more, but also helping others to learn by sharing what we've learned. We are not about competitions and contests, or the business side of photography. Sharing information about classes or places to purchase items is okay, but please don't use our group as an advertising medium for your businesses.

Our members have a wide range of cameras, a wide range of shooting styles, and a very diverse range of experience levels, from professionals to those planning to buy their first camera. All are welcomed and encouraged to participate -- on-line and in-person at our meetups.

Meetup groups are not free, so we ask for a voluntary donation of $5.00 per year from each member to help cover the costs. When enough donations have been received to cover the cost, I'll stop accepting donations.

Another note about advertising to our membership:

If you are a Moderator, Admin, or Organizer of another photo related group and you would like for me to post info about your group on the ODPG site, please let me know. Or you can post a message in the Discussion board section "Classes, Events, and Workshops not part of ODPG". 

We do not allow regular or repeated marketing of your photo group or your photo workshops to our members. We do not allow any marketing of products or workshops or groups not related to photography.

I do not want ODPG members to be receiving unsolicited email, advertising, special offers and other spam simply because they are members of ODPG. If we were to allow this, our members would be receiving email from every group that wants to boost their membership.
