Ubuntu at Indian High School Sharjah

Hi All
I have some  contacts with manaagement of Indian High School, I spoke to him about Ubuntu. He said he will help us in what ever way he can. He asked me to make a list of what all things we can do at IHS, or what all topics which can be covered during the workshop.

I have some idea, why not conduct some event in Larger scale, may be conducting  one full day event, where we give out Ubuntu 12.10 CD + T Shirt to 200 -300 or more for students freely. I know it involves finance, I could manage to get some  part of sponosr ship from Alfresco,in fact Alfresco agreed to support us if the event is a larger one and gets publicity.

Due to my situation I have limitation in getting involling fully, but I can promise that I can try my best to

(a) Start the initiial discussion with the IHS Sharjah
(b)Try my best to convice Alfresco to sponsor the event, partially or fully.

To make the event success, other activites should be take care of

By today evening I will be sending a list of things of what we can do with IHS  Sharjah , to my contact in IHS management

Thanks
Joseph John

student gets the opportunity to bring a PC or laptop and have Ubuntu
