Can we please give it a rest on criticizing Mr Zulfiqar's past (non-)actions or whatever? I understand you guys don't like it, but just talking against him when he's cooperating with us isn't going to help.

So please, calm the hell down and realize how unproductive it is. I repeat-animosity towards him or anyone else is going to help. At all.

Hi All,

I totally agree with Ahmad Juma's thoughts. Its a little difficult for me to digest the sudden change in Zulfikar's viewpoints and becoming so responsive in the group after 1 year of being silent. Just want to say "Some damages are irreparable" and we need members who willingly want to be one and not by force.. because then it becomes so unreal !  We might lose the excitement and the oneness in the community. Just my thoughts.. no offence.

Thanks,

Ragesh.

Hi,

No, I'm not saying you were wrong (I have not bothered considering it), but I was just curious about how the things were done.

Personally. I don't care who was right or wrong. Let's move on folks.

Hi Zulfikar,

Your announcing group within a group?

if you accept the past mistakes you should come up and apologize for personalizing the ae-loco group.

I think Ubuntu higher council have pushed you to come public...!!! You have not been the open person since we started some argument with you.

So do you want us to Join you or you want to work together as a team?

Regards,

Toki,

We are learning form our mistakes and moving ahead. The meetings were never private just never announced. It was spread with word of mouth and getting the like minded people to come and join us, some left some stayed back. This is how it was going on.

Well we are now going public and would not get into an argument what went wrong and how and when, rather move ahead. We are very open as we have been in the past for anyone to come join us.

Lets hope this is for the better and the ae-loco flourish even more than ever.

Regards

Zulfiqar Ali Khan

Hello,

We were never announcing our meeting in the past. This is the first time we have gone public with it. For the rest please wait for the website to come online and you will get most of your answers soon. We have not yet decided on the venue till now but as in the past might be Pavilion. I will confirm this tonight when I will send an invite to your group.

Zulfiqar Ali Khan

Hello,

Where exactly were you announcing the meetings? And can you also detail the activities you have done so far, and your schedule for future events?

We'd very much like to participate.

Thank you

Hi,

As per the councils wishes we are going public with our activities now. I will send an "official" invite to Emirates-Loco group as tonight and you are all welcome to come join us.

On the 4th we are having our regular meetup which usually happens on monthly basis. We are also in the process of putting up a website which will list all over activities/team members/future projects/etc.

I hope this will bring more transparency to our activities and will encourage others to join us in promoting ubuntu in a better way.

Zulfiqar Ali Khan

I will send the invite to the other forums to come and join us. Please extend the invites to your friends and colleagues and lets makes it a success.

Should we meet at the "Pavilion" like last time or look for another suitable location which is convenient for others?

Hi,

As there has been several of us not in the loop could you perhaps give some info on this meetup?

Regards and thanks
