Play some board/card games & get acquainted

A bunch of new folks have joined the group, so I thought it'd be worthwhile to have at least one more go at scheduling a casual, "drop in" gaming session at the UCO Campus in Edmond. All are welcome! We'll be in rooms 211 and 225 of the school's Liberal Arts building; drop me a note at [masked] if you have any questions.

It was definitely a good time. I finally got to play Tsuro, Munckin, and Small World. And I was introduced to Lords of Waterdeep and Pandemic. I definitely want to do it again sometime!

Very neat event, it was nice to meet everyone. I was introduced to Tsuro (it's on my wishlist now) and played Munchkin, Zombie Dice, the GURPS one-shot and learned Alien Frontiers. Good times.

Pretty good times! Lots of folks brought games so there was plenty to choose from, and folks were able to break up into groups a little more naturally than at our previous gatherings. We'll maybe try another one of these in July.

I had a lot of fun at this one. I hope that we can do it again sometime this summer.

Good times. There were enough people to have several games going at once and I got some exposure to several new games.

Just an FYI for all: the university has somewhat mysteriously closed down a bunch of the parking lots right outside the Liberal Arts building (without bothering to tell employees, natch). It will be a bit of a struggle to find parking close to the building, but there's a lot immediately south of the LA building with a few spaces left that you can get at via Bauman, and another one close to the Nigh University center you can get access to by turning off 2nd street. Sorry about this!

BCC: Sure! I should have some kicking around my office too, but the more the better.

Delton: 225 is probably big enough for all of us, but there's a chance there might be overflow. Also, I think some folks are wanting to play RPGs, and might want their own space. Nathan: I'd be happy to run a session of Dixit, Puerto Rico, or Agricola if there's sufficient interest (& provided I can remember all the rules. :] )

Does anyone here have any nice Euro games? I am slowly becoming addicted. The more Euros the better! Would love to try Last Will, Glen More, Le Havre (or anything by Uwe Rosenberg, really), Dominant Species, The Manhattan Project, etc.

I do have one question, you said room 211 and 225? Why two rooms?

For Small World, I have all the expansions, so we have a lot of races to use for my board. Lol

Sounds like this will be fun. I'll have an extra copy of Smallworld, if needed, as well as Dixit, Lord of the Rings, Chrononauts, and a few others. Plus chips & soda. :)

Would love to try Small World! It's been on my wishlist for months now, but never picked it up. I will bring Lords of Waterdeep, and a pile of other stuff as well.

    Hello All!
I can bring Small World, Small World Underground, Munckin, Flux, Zombie Flux, and Zombie Dice. If anyone is interested in any of these I can bring them along.

I intend to write a one-shot game based around a pre-Columbian Native American-like fantasy setting.

As you may or may not know Big City Connects will be hosting dominos and spades tournaments in the area. The grand prize will be a iPad and door prizes will be given. Does this sound like anything you guys want to do? I can bring the cards and dominos...
