WE had a great discussion with Luke, Anna and Douglas. Luke and Anna discussed the meaning of will and desire and how they may or may not differ from Love. WE also discussed whether words were objective, and the Amazon tribe that conjugates verbs according to the speaker's empirical knowledge.
Douglas brought Zizek's book "From Tragedy to the Absurd." We discussed Irony, art happenings, dogs as spiritual beings or flatterer. Then Ayn Rand's novel and movie' The Fountainhead" about an artist's purity of vision.
We plan to meet as Luke's group in the future, the Rational Benevolent Collaborative which is a MeetUp open to members.

Thanks for doing something about the "organizing" (what ever that means) for the group... I'll be there. Thanks again

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
