to learn how to build and refine your story
with the redesigned editing toolset in Final Cut Pro X! Final Cut Detroit is a community of Detroit area Final Cut Pro editors, digital filmmakers, broadcast professionals and students sharing ideas and concerns encompassing the use of Final Cut Pro HD and related tools for digital cinema. This group focuses
on the education and development of its members in regards to digital filmmaking on the Mac--
with a leaning toward storytelling. This meeting will explore ways to improve workflow, software
and hardware solutions and offer tips and tricks for digital filmmakers in
the Detroit Metropolitan area. This meeting will be broken up into three
components. We have one workshop for beginning editors and one workshop for the advanced. These sessions will combine for the keynote presentations. -Beginners Workshop-
Learn the basics of Final Cut Pro X as trainers will guide you through the complete editing process from capture to export. -Advanced Workshop-
Learn how to Multicam edit and create complex edits using compound editing.

The Power in Timelapse
This demonstration will cover how various cameras can be used to create timelapse videos. Using Mocha Pro plugins within FCPX
Producer/Director/Editor Darryl G. Shreve will demonstrate the effectiveness of using Mocha Pro plugins to track, stabilize and remove objects within videos. Effective Workflow
Drew Podgorski, Creative Editor at Ron Rose Milagro Post, will cover specialized organized workflows.
