Austin’s Homestead at Pelican Lakes (map)
We are going to meet monthly on the second Tuesday. In September, that coincides with a GIS gathering called Ignite Spatial NoCo 2.0 in Windsor CO. This event is in northern Colorado as part of the opening of the GIS in the Rockies show. It is a social meeting with drinks and apps, with 5 minute Lightning Presentations on projects and technologies involving geospatial.
Here is the link about the event:

It is a free event BUT you need a ticket and there are only about 20 left. Here is how you get them:

Hope to see you there!
If you can't make Ignite Spatial, stay tuned for Mapping Party announcements on the MeetUp site. Several folks had suggestions last night about collecting businesses in downtown neighborhoods as well as a "field trip" to Cripple Creek or Idaho Springs. We will also be arranging a "Training Day" for those of us who want to know more about the technologies! These folks will be posting the Mapping Party dates and location into our group calendar.
Also, we are looking for suggestions for Boulder meeting places for the October 12 MeetUp, as well as south Denver/DTC suggestions for November 9.
Finally, thanks to everyone who showed up last night for the MeetUp at Hanson's on S. Pearl. We had 20 people attend and had a wide range of backgrounds and interests. Good meeting and great conversations!

I'll be up there on Thursday so I can't make this one, but I'm ready for some training and a mapping party. Idaho Springs sounds like a fuin one to do.
