2nd Sunday Hike: St EDWARDS HILL TRAIL with OUTSIDE IN TEXAS Meetup

This is a great scenic trail! Starts with crossing Bull Creek, then head up to beautiful views. The link below has a good description and pictures. Dog friendly!, but there are a few cliffs. About two miles. For those that are interested, we will meet at local eatery after the hike. This will be a fun hike. Hope to see you there! Mike HOW TO GET THERE: We will meet in the parking lot on Spicewood Springs Road From Research Blvd/ hwy 183, go south on Loop 360. Turn west/right on Spicewood Springs road Go about 2 miles and you will PASS the small, 4-5 car, parking area on the left with the white mailbox, which is mentioned on the link in "Getting there" (there is also a huge "St. Edwards Park" sign there)... Continue about another quarter of a mile and there will be a parking lot on the left. Thats where we will meet!! To add the the adventure, Spicewood Springs Road was washed out at the south side, and we had to circle around.

What a beautiful place! Trails need some clearing after the flood but it was still a great place to spend the morning.

Yeah I couldn't make it either bc of the road blocks. I checked it out on foot and there was a section where the blacktop was entirely torn off. Chunks were down stream and up by the trees. Hoping for better luck next time.

Oops...Spicewood Springs was closed from the 360 side this morning. I guess water over the low water crossings?
