What is OWASP The Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) is an open-source application security project led by The OWASP Foundation, a professional association of global members that is open to anyone interested in learning more about software security. The OWASP community works to create freely-available articles, methodologies, documentation, tools, and technologies.
Who can attend? There is no bar for entry. Whether you are interested in security, would like to hear from professionals in the industry, simply network with other professionals in the Baltimore metro area, or discuss application security and related security topics, feel free to drop by at our monthly chapter meetings. To be a SPEAKER at the Baltimore OWASP Chapter, contact Michael Hixon or any of the chapter leaders with details of what OWASP project, independent research or related software security topic you would like to present on. Welcome once again. We hope to see you around.
