Open Invite - Tuesday After-work Meetup

  • Aug 5, 2014 · 6:30 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Last week, we went through Level 12 and Level 13 of Nebula. This week, we'll keep moving through the Nebula wargame ( http://exploit-exercises.com/nebula ).To get the most of these sessions, please have a look at these challenges and attempt to complete them.

In -2 to -1~ weeks time, we will (possibly) look to move onto the other challenges, including Protostar and Fusion, also from the exploit-exercises.com website. Festivities will be concluded with the consumption of dinner and ice-cream, as always (not necessarily in this order).

Please note:

• As always, this is a practical session, so please bring a laptop if you can. It is strongly recommended that this laptop be capable of booting a virtual machine from an ISO, as the exercises we will be looking at are distributed as ISOs.

• Please have had a look at ( http://exploit-exercises.com/nebula ) if you haven't been to one of these before. Try to complete it, if you can't, please post your questions on meetup.com (just comment on this post), or bring your questions to the next get-together.

• This is not intended as a "someone stand up and walk everyone else through the content" style event, it's just getting together and working on a common topic :)

• We typically look to dinner at ~8:30-9pm, depending on how things go. In accordance with the most ancient of OWASP Sydney traditions, dinner is typically at the Fuku Japanese restaurant at World Square.

Join or login to comment.

Norman poked holes through the wargames with great pace!
