The Open Web & Application Security Project is a global non-profit dedicated to making the Internet a safer place by helping people build more secure applications.
The DC Chapter is the local version for people in and around Washington DC who want to discuss application security or other related security topics.
OWASP DC is open to all people with an interest -- you don't have to be a "security person" to attend, interact, join, or just drop by.
