This class was originally scheduled for the 30th of August but has just been changed to September 13th due to a change in the teacher's schedule. Hopefully this doesn't affect anyone's ability to attend!
Annie will be doing a kimchi demo. Class will be hands on and you will leave with a small batch of kimchi-in-progress.
This occasion is also a vegan potluck lunch, so please bring along some vegan goodies to share.
For class you will need a medium to large glass jar. Please also bring one or two items from the following list of veggies:
• wombok (Chinese cabbage)
• lo bak (daikon radish, the large long white radish)
• tart apple
• hot peppers if you like spice
If everyone brings one or two things from this list we'll have plenty to share to make a large batch of kimchi together. If you see an inspiring fruit or vegetable at the market and want to add it to your own jar of kimchi, feel free to bring it along!
