O'ahu Brainstormers

(MEMBERSHIP IS FREE AND WE ARE NON-PROFIT)

We are a group of thinkers and problem solvers who meet to discuss issues facing our society or our business on O'ahu and beyond. We also welcome members seeking solutions and ideas.

Regular meetings will each be based on a “theme” with all attending members able to contribute. The common element is the synergy of collective thought. The meeting will be for members only and free of charge.

Special meetings will include presentations and training in topics of broad interest. The meeting may be open to the public. In some cases a small fee may be charged, sufficient only to cover expenses.

O'ahu Brainstormers Standards
 Meetings containing the following elements are prohibited:
1. Presentation of information to promote sale of goods or services.
2. Presentation of political or religious views that are partisan and alienate or are likely to offend other members. Political or religious discussion should be good natured, constructive, not divisive.
3. Spreading dogma. Dogma is the enemy of thought. If dogmatic statements occur in a meeting, they should be scrutinized.
4. Obscenity or vulgarity in the view of meeting attendees. This is very subjective but as a guide, if more than one member objects, their objection should be sustained.
