Web Development 101: Learn HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, & PHP By Working On Projects

Do you want to learn web programming? Are you taking on-line courses and reading books but don't know what to do next (or while between jobs)? If so, this meetup is for you! At this meetup, we will focus on starting, discussing, troubleshooting, and collaborating on web development projects. You will

• get ideas, assistance and advice for your project from peers and experienced professionals

• meet with other beginning programmers to form networks and working

• build a programming portfolio by developing a real web application

• become part of a casual support group that encourages each other to stay on track and learn new technologies

As always, no experience is required for this meetup. If you just want to attend to ask questions and check us out, come on down. "no pressure, no problem mon".

Attend these meetups if you want to learn and deploy HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, and PHP. Our future plans are to integrate PYTHON and RUBY into our projects. Come check out the East Oakland tech vibe at SydeWayz!

I will be posting on-line tutorials and resources for web development on this site. Please feel free to share yours. See you on the 12th! Please RSVP!

This meetup was excellent. Gathering with others who have similar interest and are at the same knowledge level really helped my understanding. Questions asked, by others, increased my knowledge and widened my scope of possibilities. I look forward to the next meetup.

it was great ... I learned that once I create a Website for a non-profit, having people populate it with relevant content is sometimes the biggest obstacle(thanks Howard) also the face of international programming via remarks by Randy was simply priceless, Randy is going to India and Romania to look for coders ...

I host a workshop every Thursday from 7pm - 9pm, so I'll never be able to make it to a meetup. Will you ever do anything on another day?
