Become a Successful Suspense Novelist! It was a dark and stormy night, and I decided it was the perfect setting for starting a writer's Meetup group. Writing what? Thriller and suspense, of course! We meet to help each other write better, market better, and sell better--all the way up to best seller. NOTE: This isn't a critique group though you are encouraged to join one. We won't be reading each other's writing. We will instead be teaching and learning from each other skills and techniques to improve our writing, marketing, and sales. Victims - er - Visitors are welcome. Requirements: - Must be writing or planning to write a mystery/suspense/thriller or genre novel - Must be open to improve your craft, your promotion techniques, your social media networking, and your sales conversations - Must be suspicious, or at least mysterious - Sharing a bag of chips or munchies isn't required, but bringing your favorite is welcome Leadership: We are a self-directed group coordinated by Ezra Barany. Be prepared to schedule with Ezra short presentations you can give to help the group with craft, marketing, and sales. Your participation in educating us with what you know is what helps us all.
