The above is a link to a recent article entitled “Scientists Speak Up on Mix of God and Science”. It discusses a common problem. Many reputable scientists have a belief in the supernatural. I would speculate that this comes from lack of exposure to rational philosophy but my concern is the effect it has on non-scientists. I often have discussions with devoutly religious individuals. If I’m successful in pointing out the errors of their logic (or lack of logic), I often get responses such as, “Well, I can’t really explain …but there are people smarter than me, Christian scientists for example that could prove my point to you.” Since they are used to having someone else do their thinking for them, this often will settle the issue in their mind.
I have seen outreach programs by ARI towards students through the free book program and information targeted at businessmen to give them the philosophical tools to defend themselves. Is anyone familiar with any such attempts to reach scientists? Or is anyone aware of an organization specifically made up of objectivist scientists?

The above is a link to a good article on the subject.
The website is one of the best around. It's chock-full of terrific articles.
You could probably contact Travis Norsen or one of the other writers shown, and see about doing outreach work.
