PLEASE RSVP to help us link up at the Faire! I will send those who RSVP my cell phone number!

TIME:

10am - 7pm; come for the whole day or any part you like!

WEATHER CONTINGENTY:
We will use Weather Underground for the forcasting of the local weather of this event
http://www.wunderground.com/

In case this weather forcast as of 8:00 am that morning is either:
(a) chance of thunderstorms equal to or greater than 20 percent, OR
(b) day's high temperature of equal to or less than 70F,
then the event will be then re-scheduled on our calendar.

WHAT: SCARBOROUGH RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL:
Step through the gates of Scarborough Village and feel your cares slip away. Thrill to the thunder of hooves and crash of lance on shield at the joust. Watch in amazement as birds of prey swoop just inches above your head at the command of the Royal Falconer.

Enjoy swordplay, comedy, music and other unique entertainment on 22 stages. Witness artisans create one-of-a-kind works of art. Browse 200 quaint shoppes for unique handmade jewelry, clothing, leather goods and other offerings.

Feast like a King on food and drink from around the world. Grab a turkey leg and stroll among the villagers of Scarborough. Spend the day in the 16th Century and have the time of your life.

COMMENTS:
Dress very casual and comfortable for being outside all day. Some people like to go in renaissance era costumes.

If you like, you can bring a wagon with supplies and to help any very young children through the day.

PRICES:
Adult Ticket Price (at the Gate) $24.00;
Child (age 5-12) Ticket Price (at the Gate) $10.00;
Children age 4 and under are FREE (with paid adult ticket);
Parking is FREE.

All Food, Drink, Rides ADDITIONAL.
Performers and shows work for tips!

I think you can bring in your own food & drink, but you may regret missing many of the tasty offerings!

THIS IS A PUBLIC FESTIVAL:

The fair is on a couple of hundred acres of private land, it is open to the public, and that there may be thousands of people in attendance each day.

Some of us are planning to go to this faire and would like to share the experience with others in NTOS who may be interested!

We think the Faire can be a lot of fun for younger people and families.

Please visit the Scarborough Renaissance Festival website at the link above for more information!

    As much as I truly wanted to bring Melinda to her first faire, we won't make it today. Have fun for us!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
