Casual dress. Mingle freely. Kid's welcome!  Pool open for kids (weather permitting).

6:30 pm until exhaustion!

Refreshments! Fruit, chips, dips and salsa! Cold beverages. BYOB or wine. Remind us to make some hot coffee, too.

Hot Food! Varies from barbecued hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, sausages, and hot dogs to baked lasagnas to smoked meats. Get the food while it is hot! We normally like to serve buffet style at around 7:30 pm. (You are welcome to come late, but after that, the food may not be so hot.)

Feel free to bring a beverage, dish, or dessert if you have something of your own you prefer or you would like to share.

If you have any dietary preferences, please let us know and we would try to accommodate you!

We have been having a great time at our social events! Plenty of time to get to know each other and for in-depth philosophical discussions, too. Please join us!

Sorry what I was doing ran later than I thought. I signed up on the 28th for the FRM certification so was prepping for it. In looking for work/business I have to start working on the letters and training that will parallel what I have been working on over the last 10 years. Need to get wealthy-ier

Apparently there is a saying in Texas " You can have the hat but no cattle". I need to get a really good hat and a lot of cattle. Need to start a family so learning about the community and securing its integrity is of importance. It's a guy thing!

Along with our usual meeting, mingling, catching-up with each other, eating, and free-form discussions at the Ranch, this time, for some of us who may be interested, let's open a table to questions about Ayn Rand's philosophy!

Everyone is welcome to bring a question. Does something trouble you about Ayn Rand's philosophical ideas? Do you disagree with Objectivism on a particular point but would listen to reasons to reconsider?

I don't promise we will be able to answer all questions to everyone's satisfaction in one evening, but let's get started!

    For example:
How can anyone be certain of anything?
Can a threat be an initiation of force?
Is fraud a form of force?
What about taxes just for the essential functions of government, such as the military, police, and courts?
If I have the right to speak, do you have the right not to hear it?
