Please tell us about your work, like whether you are in school or college or about your job, career, or business.

I recently (very late in life) completed a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology. I have been a teacher, high school, Monessori, some college, and have worked in university administration. I'm now retired. That means I still work a lot but no one is paying me for it. :-)

Please tell us about yourself, like whether you are married or have children.

Married. My husband is retired. We have two grown children, and four grandchildren.

Please tell us about your interests, like what you like to do in your spare time or for relaxation or vacation.

I like to read, garden, listen to music, write, exercise, visit art museums.

What is your favorite book by Ayn Rand and why?

The Romantic Manifesto - because of my interest in art. Also, I mention it because I think too few people read this one!

How did you first learn about Ayn Rand and Objectivism?

My mother gave me The Fountainhead for Christmas when I was sixteen. She had absolutely no idea what she was doing! : - )

I would like to meet others interested in Objectivism in the area.
