Interested in meeting those select few out there who use the great gift of intellect as something other than just a place to hang their beliefs on who should be the next American Idol or what have you. Using your noodle, for more than just soup.
Well, recently got out of the Navy after a five year stint on fast attack submarines. Am now going to school to become an English teacher. That will be my job, but my primary goal is to make money being a writer.
I'm divorced, had a child, but she died six hours after birth. Nothing much else to tell there.
I do what most people do I suppose. I read, write, study philosophy, study technology trends and the future of technology, I play guitar, listen to music, all that jazz.

From my father, she was his favorite author and I remember one day when I was about fourteen we were going somewhere on a plane, and they had a copy of Anthem at one of those stores inside the airport. He picked it up for me, I read that, and it just sort of snowballed from there. I read everything I could get my hands on, such as Atlas Shrugged, The Fountainhead (my personal favorite), and Introduction to Objectivist Epistemology. After reading those books I branched out to cover a wider philosophical basis, but I still love the ethical system of Objectivism, even if the epistemology is a bit on the simple side.
