Atlas Shrugged movie has a director!

I'm sure everyone has heard by now that it was annouced yesterday that Vadim Perelman will direct the Atlas Shrugged movie early in 2008. The previous film he directed was "House of Sand and Fog."

What do you guys think?

Sand and Fog was well done - glad that got someone that knows how to direct.

I think he's a fine director. I rather liked House of Sand and Fog. But I do think that any movie that tries to cram the essence of Atlas Shrugged into a mere 90 minutes is going to have to make a lot of painful sacrifices. At least, it may cause a resurgence of the book. "Now a major motion picture release..."
