It's all Greenspan's fault!

I read this article today and was amazed.­

I am no expert on monetary policy, but I find it a bit of a stretch that if things went quite well for nearly two decades while Greenspan steered the Fed, but starts to slow 2 years after he retired, it's his fault (see the George Soros book mention late in the article -there's no proof like an impartial observer!).

I think that too often the media looks for someone to blame, but something as complex as the US economy surely can't be laid at the feet of ONE man, can it?

It's been my experience that that's pretty much ALL the media does. Reading this article made face all skwunchy. A more objective title for this article might be "What single person's individual actions have had the most influence on the economy in your opinion?" But we all know they're just trying to profit on certain people's willingess to waste their time looking for someone to blame their problems on. I hope my face doesn't get stuck like this!
