I spent a lot of time at St James Park during the community protest movement. Concerns arose over winterization as the weather began to change. My studies at the time while attending the nearby George Brown for a community service worker program helped to set my interest solidly to addressing this concerns. I would like to grab a room with some interested folks like yourself where we can brainstorm and theorize what is needed for such an encampment in cold and wintery, sometimes wet, weather. This is a project for helping the homeless during extreme cold, and we can look at camp population sizes and what they would need over the course of 1 day or 1 week or longer. Scale and purpose are very important :)

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
