Shakespeare's Midsummer Nights Dream @ Ortega library 2p

FREE!!

Come join me watch Midsummer Nights Dream at Ortega Branch Library 15 minutes prior to 2p show time. I can be at the main entrance 1:30-45pm-ish for meetup and then will go in to get seats. Sooner to the date, I will tell you what I'm wearing so you can find me during or after. :-)

Details from library page:

Shakespeare’s quintessential comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, provides an excellent example of his fun-loving humour and lovely evocative language. The creative plot-line involvies two sets of couples whose romantic intentions are further complicated and confused by their encounters in an enchanted woods.
This professional production uses Shakespeare’s original text edited to an action-packed hour of theater. At the conclusion of the show, actors will answer questions from the audience. Weather permitting, the performance will take place outdoors, so bring a jacket.

Happy Saturday, Everyone! Looks like they moved the play inside to the Ortega Meeting Room due to the off/on predicted rain. So, no picnics or pets allowed. Sorry if that changes your plans! :-(. Hopefully y'all can still make it! (I see sun as of this posting, but...you know how that goes in OB!)

I'll be there 130p-ish to check out the seats situation and then meet ya at the entrance 145p until show time. I'll be wearing a green crop jean jacket for those who make it in late.

Because of the number of rsvp's from multiple meetup groups, im going to try to block as many seats as possible, if the library will let me, with my bamboo/ beach mats-teal blue coloured, so look out for it! :-) See you there! Teena

Just read that this will be outdoors weather permitting. That sounds like a picnic! I'm going to try to make this one and bring Shadow. Would anyone mind? I can try to sit far enough away so he won't bother anyone. (He tries to make people pet him).

And we're allowed to have picnics and pets out on the courtyard! :-). Very cool!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
