For those of you not familiar with Zumba, it's a Latin-inspired dance fitness class.
I know what you're thinking: But I've got two left feet! That doesn't matter. Zumba is all about having fun, meeting new people and getting fit. You don't have to know how to dance or know any dance moves. All you have to do is mirror (copy) the instructors' dance moves, enjoy the music, do your best and have fun!
But this class is (what!) 2 hours long! Don't worry you don't need to stay the whole time. There will be different instructors leading the classes. And this is a great way to show support for the new Zumba instructor graduates.
But isn't this a "women's" fitness class? Oh please! A guy - yes a GUY! - invented Zumba Fitness in 2001. His name is Beto Perez. If Beto can do Zumba then I'm sure you fellas can too.
Just stop making excuses already and check out The Zumba Grad Party this Sunday!
I'm not technically hosting this event but more like just FYI. If you attend, look for me (Karen H) so we can salsa, cha cha and merengue together. Bring water and a towel because you will get a workout. But if you have any questions (not excuses!) leave a comment or email Karen H.
