Zoo lights!

Hey OB Buddies - Let's enjoy the holiday lights at the Zoo!  They put on a special display this time of year and are open until 8pm with lots of things going on.  It seems there will be reindeer and real snow and Santa and hot cider and entertainment and lots of lights.  How can you go wrong?  Well, it cost $7.50, but that's not much.

The animals are mostly inside, but it seems we can see the Big Bugs: Outside the Box exhibit, and Komodo Alley.  Dragons at Christmas?  Why not?  I saw an acrylic pig in a Santa suit at Home Depot, so this is more normal than that!

Let's meet outside the front main gate at 6:30pm.  An hour and a half should be enough time to see the sights.

Hey, Buddies, these early Friday evening events are interesting but I can't make them since I'm way over in Eastbayite territory. When I used to try to get to Friday Nights at the De Young, I'd usually only be able to get there around, I don't know 7, 7:30, due to traffic. Komodo dragons at Christmas? Why not--in the Chinese year reckoning, I am the dragon, so all the more power to dragons. They've got to be more normal than, say ... the Santacon, http://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/Naughty-is-nice-as-SantaCon-invades-S-F-5065130.php#photo[masked], which, the one in NYC has achieved bad rap status.

I'm sensing your frustration Michael, that we are not on Facebook. I'm sure you have plenty of Facebook activity outside of OBB that you will survive it.

I just learned that =the map that you click on on this site is not accurate (Thanks Gini). Use this one - http://goo.gl/maps/fTIhN
and we will meet where the red "A" symbol is - you can park on Sloat but you need to walk into the parking lot to get to the zoo entrance.

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
