Ockham's Cafe Weekly Meetup

What's your "ism"?  How much do you know about your fellow Ockhamites' world views and philosophies?

This week we will be discussing the personal belief systems of participants in an effort to better understand ourselves and each other. Come prepared to share and exchange views.

This topic is enormous. In an effort not to overwhelm everyone with hundreds of links, I have narrowed the categories here to ancient Western and contemporary American philosophy.  If your favorite is not represented here, bring your knowledge and enlighten us on Wednesday!

General resources for those of us who could use a brush up (or a primer):

Ancient Philosophy-

http://www.historyofphilosophy.net/    ; (excellent podcasts from King's College London)

http://www.philosophicalsociety.com/Archives/History%20Of%20Philosophy.htm

(super quick, super helpful, and therefore, super simplistic)

Contemporary American Philosophy-
