John Mueller, Bruce Mason, Steve Wilson and I headed up to Indy for the Indy 2007 Air Show. Weather was fantastic, seating was awesome (flightline seats in the Robert's booth) and we all had a great time. Since I'm heading out of down tomorrow, I thought I'd post a couple to get things rolling.

All mine were shot with the 5D, 300mm f4 and 1.4x teleconverter

Great pictures. Wish that I could have went to the show but had a great time with my sister and nephew.

Picture two - take off or landing? Noticed that all of the landing gear was down. Flight line seating?? Is that Front Row or "in the line of flight?"

I will catch one of these shows someday.

#2 was a low speed maneuver with wheels down. I think they were only going 150 knots or so.

Yeah, we leaft at 6:15A and just got back around 9:30P tonight. We're all kind of crispy and our backs ache. Roberts had Canon and Nikon in the booth with loaner equipment and a lot of 400-600mm glass there. I did try out the 600, but it was like trying to find a needle in a haystack with it.

I'm still downloading the remaining three 4GB cards I filled up today. And I shot JPEG too!

3 4GB CF Cards filled up, replaced one BP511 battery, getting a couple of shots out of a few thousand....Priceless.
