Group Classes on Wednesday in Loveland (by OkayDance)

**Wednesday GROUP CLASSES**

Time:  8:00pm-9:00pm for Beginners 1 and 2 level. Working on Lead/Follow, Timing, Connection and Continuity of Patterns.

April 2,9,16,23:     Session: Night Club 2 Step
May 7,14,21,28:  Session: Country 2 Step
June 4,11,18,25:   Session: Cha Cha

Fee: $30pp for the month (4 classes) or $8pp per class (cash please at the door)
Lesson will be progressive, one class building on the other.

Beginner 1:  No experience needed.  This class is for very beginner dancers. Instruction will move at the pace of the class. Basic patterns and emphasis placed on Lead/Follow and timing for that particular dance covered. Great class for practice!

Beginner 2:  Some experience expected.  You will be expected to have some knowledge of Lead/Follow, connection, timing, and have taken some dance classes previously. This class will move along with pattern variations, developing a strong understanding of connection, rhythm and partnering and technique.  You do not need to have had training in a particular dance just that you've had some dance experience.

Students may take both sessions but should check with the instructor if you have any questions.

There will be time for some practice at the end of the lesson.

Location:   Loveland Athletic Club:
1000 S. Lincoln Ave, Loveland,CO

Group class at the Athletic Club

(The club is south of Loveland between 1st street and Hwy 14/402 on Hwy 287 (Lincoln Ave) on the east side across from the Stone Company)
Once inside: follow the carpet to the right and down the hall to the dance floor. You do not need to belong to the club or sign in to take the classes.

You will be introduced to the basic dances and patterns in Ballroom, Swing, Country and Latin styles in a non threatening easy to learn format. Simple steps to get you started and on the dance floor.  You will be introduced to strong foundational techniques that will help build your confidence as a social dancer in a fun relaxed atmosphere.

Group classes are open to both singles and couples. Couples who come together do not need to change partners unless they want to; singles will rotate partners - plus I will lead or follow as necessary.

I do try to have a balance of partners, so if you RSVP I'm counting on you - I put the word out for others to join us to help make the dance experience more enjoyable.  Bring a friend!

Hi Gary - sometimes I teach American Tango, it's not on the list just yet but the Night Club 2 is a romantic smooth dance that women really enjoy!
