The difference for the same type of wine (e.g. Pinot Noir) between France and California/Chile is significant. Old world wines (Europe) tended to be more polished and sublime. New world wines (North and South America) tended to be more bold and fruit forward. Often this was due to a practice of harvesting the grapes later.
The blind tasting at the last event was a hit and we will repeat that format for this event......with prizes.
Can't wait to have this wine tasting event with some great wines from around the world. Pinot Noir for sure. Probably Savignon Blanc and Cabernet Savignon also.

Under the new format, people will sign up to the waiting list. Then we select approximately 35-40 participants randomly (using the sorting hat).
Please update your attendance status timely if your plans have changed so others can fill your spot.
This is not a pot luck. Bring some fruit or unique cheese to share. The host provides bread, crackers, and water.
