Hi! I moved back to Washington a little over a year ago after attending grad school in Hawaii for Library and Information Science. I work for two different library systems in various roles with the hope of someday being a youth services librarian.
I love reading and enjoy discussing what I read with others.
It's so hard to pick just one. I like sci fi, historical fiction, fantasy, and more. Lately I've been on a kick of reading young adult literature.
The Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian by Sherman Alexie, Divergent by Veronica Roth, and Insurgent by Veronica Roth
Hello Monica...welcome to our book group. We're glad you found us and we hope you give us a try soon. Check out the discussion board and the first pinned discussion to see how we work. We're pretty casual and having fun is a priority. We hope to meet you soon!
I think you will be a great fit for this group. Welcome. Be sure to take our polls!
Hi Monica...my cell is [masked].

Aloha & Welcome to ALL Things Oahu! We look forward to seeing you at our next meetup. Just a reminder that your $10 annual dues goes right back to members to pay for paper products and other supplies at ATO events. Cheers, John & Phuong
It was nice meeting you today. Can't wait for the Art gallery Where is it at exactly? The map was not clear.
Let's meet outside because there is 7 of us coming. I will get there early because thats just how I am. If you want to call me I will e-mail you later today with my cell #. You can also go to google maps to get directions to the mall.
Question about Sunday meeting at starbucks at kahala mall are we meeting outside of starbucks?, or are we meeting on the inside of the mall in front of starbucks?
That's okay. I'll bring Homer to the coffee meetup. :)
Hey Monica, do you want to trade books at the next meetup? Dewey for Homer's Odyssey (about a blind cat); it had me laughing and crying. :)
