This will be a series of classes on radio transmission and reception. I'll tailor the class to the needs of students.

I can cover from crystal radios to SDR (software defined radios), antennas, transmission lines, etc.

When you RSVP, please state both when would be a good day and time for you, and what kind of coverage you need.

My credentials: I hold an Amateur Radio Extra class license, AE7HD, and have CETs (Certified Electronic Technician) in both Consumer Electronics and Computers.

Hang around after for games, potluck, and socializing. Don't forget to sign up for that one, too.

Fun! We had several people sit in on the class. Michael H. was there to fact-check me (which I always appreciate).

Covered the very basics of radio waves, what they are, antenna basics, matching of antennas to transmission lines to radios with when and why it is important. Got a bit into types of modulation and why they are used.

I had a blast with this Polymorph and Michael were very insightful. I learned so much in this class I felt my mind expand, and this was just the basics. I look forward to more of these awesome mind warping sessions!

Moved to 3:30pm, so I can help man a table at the Lacey S.T.E.M. Fair & Grand Prix Electric Car Races from 9am to 3pm. Meetup for that coming soon.

I hate to move this again. But if we're going to the STEM event in Lacey, it is from 9am to 3pm. In which case, I'd like to move this class to 3:30pm, but keep it on the same day.

I had to move the date because Arts Walk is April[masked]

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
